14 years ago Tiffiney started working immediately after passing state board exams in a medical spa setting, gaining knowledge in medical grade skincare, laser hair removal and resurfacing treatments followed by becoming the Lead Esthetician at Ulta Beauty in 2007.

I fell in love with waxing & brow design and put myself through whatever additional trainings I could get my hands on, including brow threading with Master Barber & Brow Expert James Wealthy.

Tiffiney worked as lead Spray tan Technician at The Cosmetic Market in Cool Springs & The Private Edition in Green Hills while also attending Nail Technician School in Murfreesboro Tennessee.

Shortly after finishing school she opened her very own Spa called The Powder Room Skin & Nail Spa. 

Prior to that I did spray tans, waxes & facials out of my home around my baby's nap time and slowly got busy enough in my home that I needed a place of business.

It was an overwhelming decision to rent my own space, but I knew it was time to have a space to enjoy away from home, and be able to shut the door and go home at the end of the day.

Wow, how the last 12 years have flown by! 

I have grown from a new mama & one woman show doing all my treatments out of a single room, to a mom of 3 and now having half the building ( 5 treatment rooms) and 4+ team members!

Now in 2022, looking back at the last 3 years I know many guests have possibly never met me which was weird at first since I took care of every single guest in my salon for the first 6 years!

 However, I have trained my helpers to the best of my ability & trust them to care for my ladies a lot like I do!

 The Powder Room wouldn't have survived with out their help, I'm so grateful for my amazing Team!

My girls are now (13) Peyton, (5) Piper and (3) Pearl.

I have extra limited availability now to due to our littlest lady,  

you may have heard of my sweet Lillian "Pearl" Leyhew.

She is a rare little girl that 'fights like a Pearl"!

After a long and traumatic first year of life we were able to develop lots of new relationships at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, TN and finally get some answers... 

Because she is so rare the doctors couldn't really tell us a good prognosis for her rare diagnosis,

 but that's okay...we have already seen Pearl be a MIRACLE in so many ways and 

we will continue loving her the best we possibly can!

We are enjoying every moment that we have with these sweet girls..

We don't know much about her future but I do know that she needs me ( and that I need her too).

So that's why you don't see me around the shop as much as before, 

When I am here, my treatment door is probably closed while I'm waxing & tanning my lovelies!
